Historians (Peter Bardaglio, et al.) NOTE: BLAG objects to the filing of this brief on the grounds that two of the twenty-three signatories to the brief—Professors George Chauncey and Nancy Cott—filed expert affidavits on the behalf of Windsor at the trial level. Thus, two copies of the brief follow the motion for permission to file, one with all 23 signatories and one with Chauncey and Cott omitted.
