They block based on ip as nearly as I can tell (all computers at my home, including iPad, so maybe something identifying my Internet connection). Definitely not name or email address though'. I don't change these and have found that when away from my home connection my post always get through. So I try to get in a few good ones then. But just to be safe I changed my name on this post.

Kate, after I was banned from their site (never even said anything bad, just truthful, from a straight marriage equality supporter), I found that posts from my phone went through and took full advantage. Oddly enough, that stopped yesterday, and it's too bad because listening to the ignorance and animosity of the usual suspects is so incredibly unbelievable, and to not be able to respond is like being gagged. I should just let it go. You're right about, Brian, he's gone way over the deep end.

Check out Brian's newest on the NOMblog about "The Big Mo." I've learned from the funny postings at JMG that that's slang for homo! Too funny, Brian. To think, I'm so culturally-ignorant that my first reaction was, "What does the battleship Big Mo [where the Japanese peace treaty was signed] have to do with NOM????" Then there's the 48-star flag in the background image ....... but no, it still has nothing to do with World War II, folks. As one of the JMG posters said: "I guess he thinks Alaska is actually a part of Russia, and Hawaii is part of, oh, Kenya." Sure do wish I could post at NOMblog to riducule Brian appropriately..........
