Card-carrying members of Dianne Feinstein’s liberal posse
November 22, 2011
By Adam Bink
Via Jeremy Hooper, Concerned Women for America trying to be all hip ‘n cool with their iPad:
I’m pretty sure Sen. Feinstein doesn’t have liberal posse, but if she did, when it comes to her work on DOMA, I would be proud to be a card-carrying member.

I am a liberal, though not terribly elite. Apparently I will not respect we, the people.
Actually, I would love to respect you, dear, but I prefer people who don't butcher the English language.
Oh. And ones who understand that the Constitution is designed to protect minorities from the tyranny of the majority.

Anyone who calls Feinstein a liberal hasn't been paying much attention. She's a war hawk, for one.

And eeek, the v.o. work is appalling. Is this chick with the flat "i"s even from CA?

Seriously. You'd think they'd at least hire somebody with a local accent! It can't be that hard to find a Californian looking for voice-over work….

Ummm, no one HERE is going to call her to oppose the act. WE all called her to tell her to SPONSER it!!!

Maybe it is hard to find one who subscribes to this nonsense?

Better to be a liberal then a fascist….. just saying….. WE the people applies to ALL people; LGBT & Straight, ALL faiths & non-religious, ALL races, male & female, ALL (dis)abilities, ALL nationalities, ALL ages, ALL shapes & sizes……It doesn't mean "majority", it means ALL….. It is people like Callous Whack-jobs for Authoritarianism (CWA) who do NOT respect "We the people", they do NOT respect freedom, & they do NOT respect the Constitution. They are the ones imposing their un-American "values" on the rest of us.
Sincerely, Concerned American for America….. <3…Ronnie

OT, but this is comical…..here is Brian saying thanks, etc etc….but the funny part? Towards the end of his message, there is not 1, but 2 sizable red buttons (donate now) asking for funds…..getting a tad desperate is he? LOL

Anyone from New Hampshire following this site? Your delegate may be seeking your views on the gay marriage repeal bill…

More lies… The Respect for Marriage Act doesn't force any state to recognize a marriage. It forces the federal government to recognize any marriage that in valid in at least one state, regardless of which state you live in.
The redneck guitar music in the background is somehow appropriate.

They love to say that we're forcing our moral values onto them. Excuse me? Just whose values have we been living with for ages? Kinda sucks when you don't get to have everything your own way, doesn't it?

Respect California

Find out more at <a href="http://www.CWLAC.org” target=”_blank”>www.CWLAC.org
I searched many ways but could not find a valid website for CWLAC.org– I wonder if this is one of those incidences where they are trying to masquerade as a legitimate organization? Because CWLA.org is an organization that truly wants to support and help ALL families.
To "concerned woman" in video: I invite you to educate yourself before spreading ignorance:

It might be a typo… there is a CWALAC.org that is Concerned Women…
I suppose the good news is that searching CWLAC is more likely to get one to CWLA than to CWALAC. So maybe this video will do some good it had completely not intended.

You never know, John. That's our big joke about Charlton Heston playing Moses and Ben Hur….apparently they couldn't find any Jewish people in Hollywood.
Frankly the chick sounds a little Minnesotan….maybe from one of their anti-marriage campaigns there? Pretty sure they didn't pay scale for her work, prolly blew their entire budget on that iPad.

She sounds to me like some of the very dedicated Mormon moms I've known in Utah who are like super-women who sound quiet, even passive but are actually very assertive in what they believe in: work, managing households, service/church projects, causes, health….they are amazingly proactive…sad their church dogma channels their talent and work ethic into passing hate legislation such as prop8. Thankfully some of these "super moms" have gay kids and make up our FABULOUS Utah PFLAG chapters in Salt Lake, Ogden and St. George

oh wow….. new hair cut only thing worth noting.
yes Maggie, you are a bigot……LOL about "uncomfortable dinner conversations…" me and hubby drove 150 miles to have T.G. dinner with extended family @ my parents house, as there were many indications they were not prepared for us as a couple, we only stayed about 15 minutes.
@ my hubby's family we made it until end of dinner until one relative broke into tears because didn't feel it was right I sat so close to hubby during family Karaoke activity…we haven't been to either family thanksgivings since…I chose to work instead to pick up O.T.
Maggie talks about "Stand your ground"…I say "don't invite us at all " if you are not comfortable with me or the person I love.

Angel and I are closer than most straight couples I know, even after 6 years. We walk hand in hand almost everwhere. I don't care what other people thing (anymore). I am very much in love.

Hi all, I'm now in SoCal visiting my family for Thanksgiving. I'll be spending the next few days with my mom, my three sisters and their families. I'm 'out' to all of them, have been for years, and it's simply not an issue at all for anyone. If I were in a arelationship, we would probably both be here and everyone would be totally fine with that. I love all of these people and they love me. When we get together for Thanksgiving we are all grateful to be together as a family. The only conversations about same sex marriage that happen during our Thanksgivings are things like 'So Dave, how is the Prop8 trial going?' and maybe 'so Dave, are so seeing anyone?'. THAT is how a loving, mature, rational family discusses same-sex marriage at Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

(As I posted elsewhere about this video…)
Maggie Gallagher says marriage was created only for opposite sex couples to procreate and raise their children, and that it's not bigotry to treat same sex couples differently, it's just common sense. OK, Maggie, if you agree to the following conditions, I'll concede your argument,
Condition 1: All opposite sex couples wishing to marry must be tested for fertility.
Condition 2: All opposite sex couples who pass that test must, as part of their application for a marriage license, sign a legally-enforceable contract to have children.
Condition 3: All current marriages of opposite sex couples who are incapable of having children, whether by age or infertility, are immediately declared null and void ("annulled").
Condition 4: All opposite sex couples who are currently married and pass a test for fertility, but who are currently childless, must sign the contract to have children, or their marriages are immediately annulled.
Grant those conditions and find a way to enforce them, and I'll concede your point, Maggie. Otherwise, you must concede my point that Marriage is about two people who love each other, and want to spend their lives together, making that commitment to each other.
Oh and by the way Maggie – go fuck yourself.

How's this for a Thanksgiving message?… Because of soulless, heartless elitists like Maggie G. & NOM et al… thousands of kids all over this country will not have any Thanksgiving dinner with their biological families because their incapable of love bio-fams abandoned them choosing hate & evil over love & family……
But, thanks to people who actually have a soul, who have an actual loving & caring heart, who actually care about protecting children… some of those thousands of homeless youth will be able to have a warm meal and give thanks with their self adopted extended families……
NOM et al is destroying the family. This "war" they have decided to wage on the very existence of LGBT human beings is destroying families, tearing them apart the same way the Civil War tore families apart, the same way the movement for women's rights tore families apart, the same way the movement for Civl Rights & interracial marriage tore families apart…. The ones who act in dividing families , the ones who act in telling someone to hurt their own family member are ALWAYS in the wrong. Maggie G. is an iniquitous hateful repugnant destructive person. SHAME ON HER…….. She & the rest of her soulless inhuman ilk are responsible for the unacceptable reality that there are thousands of LGBT kids who have no family, who have no bed to sleep in, who have no wishbone to dream for better…… this Thanksgiving some 14yo gay kid's Thanksgiving dinner will consist of a half eaten burger pulled out of a garbage dumpster while those who follow Maggie G. & NOM et al's deleterious advice are filling their hateful bigoted mouths with turkey, stuffing, yams, carrots, corn, wine, & pie.
So how's that for a Thanksgiving message?……… > I …Ronnie:

Can you please leave out the language and the slurs against women? I don't care who she is or who or what she stands for, that is totally inappropriate.
From a woman.

Absolutely agree! This kind of talk from "our own" is even worse than from the haters, as I expect more from "us."

We went to a Transgender talent show last night held at a local collage. What a lovely evening with lovely people. Performances ranged from Drag performance, Jazz piano, dramatic reading, folk guitar and more. Each performer was interviewed by a delightful long-time activist and transgender woman. There was an art display too by a 18 yr old just kicked out of the house the week of thanksgiving because came out as a transgender woman to her active Mormon family and now is homeless…her story was heartbreaking…but she seems optimistic and determined to survive…and she will as all of us in the room gave her lots of love!
thanks for video Ronnie,(engaging and educational format)…and your dead-on comments.
Wishing all you dear persons seen and unseen a happy thanksgiving. Love, Gregory

Just maybe her hairdresser is gay with a great sense of humor.
As for her talking points, nothing new and we certainly know how to refute them.

Unless she speaks with her mouth full, I doubt that she'll be doing much talking on Thanksgiving anyway.
